DOE & DOB Policies

The CRCB, in the Office of Talent Management, is committed to the Hawaii State Department of Education's (HIDOE) overall compliance with Federal, State, HIDOE Administrative Rules, and Policies, which strictly prohibit any form of discrimination.

Under Hawaii laws, all persons attending public school are required to attend the school in the geographic area in which they reside. However, permission to attend another school may be granted by the Department.

Families experiencing unstable housing have rights under the McKinney-Vento Act to ensure their children continue uninterrupted access to education and services.

 

If you have difficulty understanding English you may request language assistance services for Department information that is available to the public. These language assistance services are available free of charge.

The Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) is designed to reduce, to the maximum extent practicable, the amount of storm water containing pollutants from entering and ultimately discharging from the MS4 system into the streams, rivers and ocean that we all enjoy.
