Parent Community Network
Aloha Ewa Makai Ohana,
My name is Lolita Ayala and I am the Parent Community Networking Center (PCNC) Facilitator here at Ewa Makai Middle School.
As a PCNC facilitator, my role is to help support partnerships between the home, school, and the community. Communication is vital, and I strive to provide important information in the monthly newsletter as well phone calls home when important information, and events, need to go out. We have various volunteer opportunities to include events and field trips throughout the year, and we love, and encourage, parent/family involvement. If you would like to volunteer on campus, I provide volunteer training to ensure the safety of our students. I am also the Ohana (PTO) liaison and highly encourage you to join (it is free) to connect with other parents at the school, and as another avenue to share ideas and concerns. My office is located in room D-105 and I am usually on campus Monday through Thursday in the a.m. Although my position is only 17 hours, I can be reached via email at lolita.ayala@ewamakai.org, or at 808.687.9479, and I will get back with you as soon as I can. I look forward to a wonderful year with you and your children.
Mahalo,
Lolita Ayala
PCNC Facilitator
Ohana Parent Teacher Organization
At EMMS we love to have families engage with what is taking place at the school and we strive to help facilitate a school/family partnership to promote student success. The OHANA PTO is dedicated to collaborating with our parents, and families, to share ideas and concerns, working together to volunteer for various school events, and helping to provide additional resources for student/teacher benefit.
